Interview with Rolandas Zakarevičius
Georgian market does not really complain about the scarcity of development companies. Each of them has its own characteristic handwriting, although in many cases it is quite difficult to make the optimal choice since it is difficult to determine how much the price actually reflects the quality of the proposed apartment. That is why today we would like to introduce you to a new player in the Georgian construction sector, who, in addition to international status and financial strength, offers to share values that will be pleasant and useful news in Georgia.
Marketer.ge spoke with Rolandas Zakarevičius, the founder of the Lithuanian company Baltic Investment Group. The group has been supplying a wide range of construction materials to international markets for several years, and recently decided to enter the construction business and, as a result of exploring potential markets, stopped choosing Georgia.
Tell us, why did you choose Georgia and how was the idea of construction born here?
Recently we have discussed entering into the international markets and were in the process of searching. We turned out in Georgia with a friendly visit and I can say that it was "love at first sight" on our part. We came here with Georgians and returned with a strong desire to return to Georgia and do something valuable here. We also met people in your country who perceived the world exactly as we did. We saw that it is possible to create a team here that would share the emotion and aspiration of our company and make it a reality. Such a team, as you know, will be able to do everything. Therefore, we decided to enter the Georgian market without any hesitation. That's how we started the construction of "Namai Vake".
What is the mission and goals of your company?
We fully believe in the emotion we have here and that is what gives us the opportunity to do our best for it and overcome obstacles fearlessly. It is important for us to see that the house we build brings a sense of security, comfort and tranquility to each family. I would call this the mission of our company, and the goal is that the "Namai standard" means reliability, quality and accessibility for each potential customer.
European standards, the local market and project profitability, how do you put all this together?
European standards primarily refer to new technologies and innovations. If the standard is strictly adhered to, it will give us increased comfort in terms of lower costs. There is a myth that new technologies are expensive, which is wrong. For example, 15 years ago the utility costs of baking were 7 times higher than now, in the conditions of modern machines. It is true that in this case, the initial investment is more, but in the long run, it is much more profitable. This is exactly what we offer to the Georgian market. Strictly adhered to the highest European standards and new technologies, which provide significant emotional and financial benefits to the apartment owner in the long run.
What news and innovations do you offer to the Georgian market, what is your distinguishing mark?
We offer very interesting news to our customers. For example, in Namai Vake we refused to supply natural gas to all the apartments one by one and instead introduced a centralized gas heating system that supplies the warm floor system of the apartments with heating water. As a result, we get increased comfort and reduced utility costs. Also, each apartment in our complex will be equipped with a modern induction cooker. This also saves electricity and increased the comfort of consumption. It is a home appliance without which modern cooking is unthinkable since today induction cooker is the most technologically advanced and safe technology.
In addition, we have installed a ventilation system in the Namai Vake apartments equipped with a popular recuperation system in Europe, which provides clean and moderately humid air in the space. It is especially convenient in winter when opening windows is uncomfortable and moisture accumulated in the air often becomes a cause of condensation.
Also worth mentioning are the solar panels. They will be mounted on the roof of the complex and provide full lighting for elevators, garages and entrances. It directly means the cost savings of the residents and the preserved ecology, which makes us very happy and proud.
You mentioned the Namai Standard. Tell us more details what it means and how you intend to implement this principle?
We clearly see the picture of success. As I have already mentioned, the main component of success already exists - it is our sincere emotion about Georgia and the Georgian team, which fully shares the direction and values of the company. Added to this are innovations, quality and optimal solutions from our side, which will definitely yield results. We also plan to work to dispel certain fears and myths about innovation. For example, there is a misconception that aluminum doors and windows are too expensive and simply a luxury. In fact, it has a luxurious look and high functionality, which is also reflected in the saved utility bills. There are many such details and we plan step by step to take each "height" in this regard and integrate our company's values into the "Namai standard". Team, inspired by one idea, high quality and customer loyalty - this will be the "Namai standard".
